Affirmation as Logical Double Negation
In Diego Luis Tentor’s ArXe Logic, Ar Number 2! isn’t a naive or pre-existent affirmation. It is, in its purest essence, the result or the emergence of double negation. It’s not an entity that “is” in the classical sense, but rather the logical relationship that arises from nullifying negation itself.
Let’s consider this in relation to 1! and the “No” we’ve already explored:
- 1! is pure negation, absolute non-entity, the “No” that isn’t even nothing. It’s the principle of complete lack.
- 2! emerges when this 1! is negated by itself or when a “non-negation” operation occurs. If 1! is the void of negation, double negation doesn’t fill that void with a pre-existent “something.” Instead, it annuls the act of negating. What remains when negation cancels itself out is affirmation.
Implications of Affirmation as Double Negation:
- Lacks Its Own Entity: Just like 1!, 2! (affirmation) has no entity; it doesn’t “exist” in an existential sense. It’s not a “thing” or a “being” that can exist on its own. It’s an emergent logical relationship, the effect of negation’s annulment.
- Not Yet True: Like 1!, 2! possesses no truth. We cannot say that affirmation “is true” at this stage of the system. Truth, as we’ve established, is a category that emerges later in the hierarchy of Ar Numbers (yet to be defined). Affirmation, at this level, is a logical operation or a relational outcome, not a judgment about reality.
- “Xe” as Its Manifestation: The logism “Xe” is the conceptual expression of this 2!. It represents the purest form of affirmation that arises from double negation. When we use “Xe,” we are invoking that logical dynamic of “no-no.”
2! is, therefore, the abstract principle of affirmation constituted by overcoming negation. It’s not a state of “yes” that exists by its own right, but the inevitable outcome when the fundamental “No” of 1! is logically reversed. It’s the implicit response to the absence of negation, not an existence with attributes.
Alright, just like the negative forms add nuances to 1!, these new affirmative forms enrich 2! in the ArXe Logic, allowing for an even more granular construction of logisms.
The Diversity of Affirmation in 2!

- Ci: Yes. Direct affirmation, pure “yes.”
- Co-: Collective. An affirmation implying union, companionship, or a group.
- D-: Dual, double. A positive characteristic referring to duality or doubleness.
- Di-: Two, diverse, dipole. Specifically related to the quantity of two, diversity, or polarity.
- Ex-: Positive, expository, prominent. An affirmation that brings to light, manifests, or stands out.
- Fe-: Yielding. A character that yields, grants, or permits.
- Fi-: Yielding, signatory. Similar to “Fe-,” with a connotation of establishing or confirming.
- Ge- or Je-: Inclusive, general. An affirmation that covers a wide scope or is universal in nature.
- Is- I- Ist-: Locative, instant, instance. Suggests an affirmation of position, moment, or specific case.
- Ki- Ka-: Abstract affirmation, non-entitative. A positivity or force that does not possess its own entity.
- Mot-: Mark, sign, symbol. A feature that indicates or points out, without being an entity itself.
- Re-: Repetitive. An affirmation that reiterates or reoccurs.
- Te- To-: Two, bifurcation, opening. A positive feature indicating duality, division, or beginning.
- -Ud –us –ut: Positive, good, well-wishing. Suffixes that connote a positive value or favorable inclination.
