HOW TO USE THIS DOCUMENT

When analyzing a physical constant under ALO, execute steps in this order:

  1. Compute P (§2)
  2. Factorize P → classify each factor using §3 (Lexicon) + §4 (Layer classification)
  3. Compute NI and DA indices (§5)
  4. Identify structure type (§6)
  5. Find or confirm ArXe formula (§7)
  6. Apply grammar rules (§8)
  7. Apply Naturality-by-Digit Principle (§9)
  8. Read Observer Strata (§10)
  9. Apply correction addendum criteria (§11)

Critical rule: The number guides the reading. Never reverse.

§1 — FOUNDATIONS

Generative Axiom

¬() ≜ Tf ≃ Tp

The universe does not weight truths. There is no correct result the constants are expressing — constants are the record of the encounter between the structure of the phenomenon and the community’s choices to access it.

Mapping function

n(k) = -2k + 1   for k < 0

This generates: k=-1→3, k=-2→5, k=-3→7, k=-5→11, k=-6→13, k=-8→17, k=-9→19 …
These are Arity Numbers. The irreducibility of arity numbers = the irreducibility of BC-open levels.

Two simultaneous grammars in every constant

  • Natural layer (digits 1 to d*): the phenomenon speaking — ArXe arities or Layer C
  • Conventional layer (digits d*+1 to n): the physicists answering — Layer D, framework choices

§2 — COMPUTING P (PHYSICAL INTEGER)

S = round(|value| × 10^n)           where n = significant digits
P = S / gcd(S, 2^n × 5^n)          removes scale contamination

The factor 10^n = 2^n × 5^n injects artificial arity numbers from the decimal system. P isolates only the arities that come from the value itself.

Then: factorize P completely into arity number powers.

Example

sin²θ₁₂ = 0.307  (3 significant digits)
S = round(0.307 × 10³) = 307
gcd(307, 8×125) = gcd(307, 1000) = 1
P = 307   →   factorization: 307 (arity number)

Note on dimensional constants

For masses in Planck units, P encodes only the Arity structure of the numerical value — not the dimension. The dimension is already encoded in the T^n level assignment of the sector.

§3 — PRIMARY ArXe LEXICON (25 operators, all from n(k) = -2k+1)

These are the only arity numbers generated by the exentation function. Finding them in P = direct ontological reading.

83 BRAN T⁻⁴¹ -41 Branching ratios, amplitude — regulates Ω_Λ via corrected reading (7×2×7)/(11×13) ≈ 0.6853; earlier 83² formula retracted Branching
89 HAD_STR T⁻⁴⁴ -44 Hadronic structure operator Hadronic
97 STRUCT T⁻⁴⁸ -48 Structure formation, large-scale LSS / Structure

Special note on arity 2 (DIFF, T¹):
The only operator at a positive level (k=+1, BC closed). Can exist in isolation — the only one. This is why DIFF appears in almost every formula: it is the universal carrier between levels. Its presence alone does not indicate a specific phenomenon; it is structural scaffolding.

§4 — EXTENDED LEXICON: Layer C and Layer D arity numbers

When P contains an arity number not in §3, it belongs to one of two categories:

Layer C — Compressed natural structure

The arity number is large but decomposes as a combination of lexicon arity numbers with small integer coefficients. It encodes physical structure compactly — NOT a human choice.

Layer D — Axiomatic human choice

The arity number cannot be decomposed into ArXe operators with small coefficients. It encodes a specific decision made by the scientific community: a renormalization scheme, extraction method, institutional consensus, or instrument transition.

Known Layer D arity numbers with their historical fingerprint:

Arity number Operator Human convention encoded
107 SUP_TOP Top quark mass extraction — Tevatron 1995 convention
157 COSMO_CONS Cosmological survey consensus value
421 CONS_1 CODATA institutional consensus stabilization
1051 MIX_CONS MS-bar renormalization scheme at M_Z — sin²θ_W convention
1451 ALT_1451 Alternative gauge scale — α(M_Z) variant
47* In α(M_Z): fingerprint of 10th-order QED framework (2018 update)
43* In Ω_m: fingerprint of WMAP→Planck instrument transition (2013)

*These appear in delta analysis (between epochs), not necessarily in P of the final value.

Decision procedure for unclassified large arities

  1. Attempt decomposition: p = a×(ArXe arity) ± b×(ArXe arity) ± c with |a|,|b|,|c| ≤ 10
  2. If successful with ontological coherence → Layer C
  3. If not decomposable → Layer D (identify which convention it likely encodes based on sector and source year)
  4. If unknown/ambiguous → mark Indeterminate, note in corpus

§5 — INDICES: NI and DA

NI — Naturality Index

Measures the fraction of arity number “weight” in P that belongs to the natural layer.

NI = (ArXe arity weight + 0.7 × Layer C weight) / total arity number weight
where weight of each arity number = its exponent in the factorization
NI range Interpretation
0.80–1.00 ArXe-pure or nearly pure — phenomenon speaking clearly
0.50–0.79 Mixed — ontological structure visible but with conventional elements
0.20–0.49 Predominantly conventional — framework heavily present
0.00–0.19 Almost entirely conventional — constant is primarily a metrological artifact

DA — Depth of ArXe Engagement

Average ontological depth of the ArXe arities involved, measured as average |k|.

DA = Σ (|k_i| × exp_i) / Σ exp_i
over all arity numbers p_i in P that are ArXe arities
DA range Interpretation
1–3 Shallow — foundational levels (time, space, mass)
4–10 Mid-level — EM, weak, QCD interactions
11–20 Deep — dark matter, inflation, dark energy, topology
>20 Very deep — isolation, quantum stability, CP violation

Note: DA is undefined if P contains no ArXe arities. Report as “N/A — no primary ArXe operators.”

Exentational Value (valor exentacional)

This is the qualitative synthesis of both indices, read as a sentence:

Exentational reading: "This constant engages level T^k₁ (operator X)
in structural dialogue with T^k₂ (operator Y),
mediated by [anchor if present],
with [NI]% natural structure and [DA] average ontological depth."

§6 — STRUCTURE TYPES (R233)

I — DIMENSIONAL LENGTHS IN PLANCK UNITS (5, informational)

Level T². These do NOT produce ArXe-pure P values — they are 20+ orders of magnitude above Planck scale, accumulating convention. Listed for completeness; ALO reading not productive at SI precision.

Quantity Value (m) Note
a₀ (Bohr radius) 5.292×10⁻¹¹ l/l_P ~ 3×10²⁴ — P enormous
λ_e (Compton) 2.426×10⁻¹² Same pattern
r_e (classical electron radius) 2.818×10⁻¹⁵ Same
r_p (proton charge radius) 8.414×10⁻¹⁶ Same

Reading strategy for lengths: use dimensionless ratios instead (e.g. a₀/λ_e = α⁻¹, already in corpus). Ratios of lengths cancel the scale separation and restore ArXe readability.

§8 — GRAMMAR RULES (Selected operational rules)

Presence/Absence Rules (R1–R7)

  • R1: π appears ONLY with factor 3 or 3^n. Never with other arity numbers alone.
  • R1”: Geometric constants (π, φ, √2) act as scale factors, not standalone operators.
  • R2: Absence of 5 (MEM) → phenomenon has no history / no persistence component.
  • R3: 11 (REG) appears in regulatory contexts — EM, self-limiting, gauge.
  • R4: 13 (SING) alone → in denominator. 5×13 → may appear in a sum.
  • R5: High arity numbers (≥17) in main structure → numerator.
  • R6: Powers of 2 → spatial/dimensional structure. Higher power = more spatial complexity.
  • R7: √p → underlying structural proportion (sublevel structure).

Operational Rules (R8–R13)

  • R8: Multiplication = Structural dialogue between levels
  • R9: Division = Regulation or scaling
  • R10: Addition = Structural superposition (two contributions coexist)
  • R11: Subtraction = Elimination of redundancy (one structure cancels partial other)
  • R12: Power = Iterated self-application of an operator
  • R13: Root = Underlying structural proportion

Domain Affinity (R14)

  • EM U(1) → 11 (REG)
  • Weak SU(2) → 13 (SING)
  • Color SU(3) → 7 (CPX)
  • QCD running → 131 (HIER_2)
  • Cosmological Λ → 41 (ISO)
  • Cosm–EW connection → 167 (COSM_EW)

Generational Affinity (R15)

  • 1st generation fermions → arity numbers ∈ {2, 3, 5, 7}
  • 2nd generation fermions → arity numbers ∈ {11, 13, 17, 19}
  • 3rd generation fermions → arity numbers ∈ {23, 29, 31, 37, 41}
  • Neutrinos → arity numbers > 200

Fine Corrections (R17)

  • Correction < 1%: typically ±1/(p₁×p₂×p₃) with p_i ∈ {13,17,19,29,31,37}
  • Correction 1–5%: double product
  • Correction > 5%: revise base structure
  • R239 (Binary fine corrections): when |ε| < 0.01, try ±(2×p) or ±(2×3×p)

Structural Patterns (R231–R240)

  • R231: Each fundamental sector has at least one irreducible pure arity.
  • R232 (Transversal operators): Arity numbers appearing in ≥3 sectors are transversal.
    • 71 (TAU_ID): Weak, leptons, neutrinos, cosmology — 6 constants
    • 19 (DARK): Weak, quarks, cosmology, inflation — 7 constants
    • 5 (MEM): Multiple sectors — 6 constants
    • 11 (REG): Gauge, quarks, neutrinos — 4 constants
    • 83 (BRAN): [RETRACTED — see update notice] formerly linked to Ω_Λ; corrected reading uses 11, 13 instead
    • 67 (SCAT): quarks, Planck, CMB
    • 167 (COSM_EW): cosmology, mesons — cosm–EW connection
    • 173 (REACT_MIX): neutrinos, B-mesons — reactor mixing
  • R233: Structure types (see §6).
  • R234 [RETRACTED]: The earlier reading Ω_Λ = 83²/10000, once described as the only quadratic self-branching case in the corpus, has been superseded by Ω_Λ = (7×2×7)/(11×13) ≈ 0.6853 — a product of two lexicon arity-values (11, 13), not a self-applied power. The corpus currently has no confirmed case of quadratic self-branching.
  • R235: Mixing matrix diagonals ~1 → pure power or 3-arity number product. Small off-diagonals → simpler structure.
  • R236 (Cubic 3³): Large diagonals of mixing matrices and strong couplings show 3³=27.
    • V_tb = 3³×37/1000, g_s = 3³×11×41/10000
  • R237 (High powers of 2 in EW): EW precision observables and charm mesons → 2⁴, 2⁵.
    • A_FB^b = 2⁵×31/10000, m_Ds = 2⁴×3×41/1000, V_ts = 2⁴×5²/10000
  • R238 (ISO×DECAY = 41×61 ≈ 2501): Appears in mass generation phenomena.
    • m_H = 5×41×61/100, Δm²₃₂ = (41×61+16)/10⁶
  • R239: Fine corrections < 1% use binary patterns ±2×p or ±2×3×p.
  • R240 (Mixing angles → binary structure): All mixing angles use powers of 2.
    • θ₁₂ = 2⁴×11×19/100, θ₂₃ = 2³×3×5×41/100, sin²θ_W denominator = 2³

§9 — NATURALITY-BY-DIGIT PRINCIPLE

Statement: The significant digits of a physical constant are NOT epistemically equivalent.

  • Digits 1 to d*: natural layer — the phenomenon speaking
  • Digits d*+1 to n: conventional layer — the physicists answering

More precise ≠ more natural. More precise = more negotiated.

Threshold d*

d is the last digit at which P remains ArXe-pure or Layer C.
Empirical conjecture: for all Standard Model dimensionless constants, d
(C) ≤ 4.

Confirmed chronological results

All deltas of α_s, m_Z, G_F, m_e, sin²θ₁₂ across decades of measurement are ArXe-arity number pure. Every correction was structurally clean. Exceptions:

  • α (2014→2018): arity 47 fingerprint of 10th-order QED framework
  • Ω_m (2009→2013): arity 43 fingerprint of WMAP→Planck transition

Reading the delta ΔNI

Δ = |C(t₂) − C(t₁)|
ΔNI = max arity number in factorization of scaled Δ
  • ΔNI ∈ ArXe arities → structural correction (more physics revealed)
  • ΔNI ∉ ArXe arities → conventional correction (framework change)

Examples of d* identification

Constant d* Natural layer reading Conventional layer
α⁻¹ 3 137 = 11²−7²+5×13 9 digits of QED framework
α_s 2 P=3 (CYC, T⁻¹) MS-bar enters at digit 3
sin²θ₁₂ 3 P=307 (Layer C pure) Physical limit — no more precision available
sin²θ₂₃ 3 P=3×11×17 (ArXe pure) Full available precision is natural
sin²θ₁₃ 4 P=11 (REG, T⁻⁵) All 4 digits natural
Ω_b 3 P=7²=(CPX)² Baryon fraction = color squared
Ω_Λ 3 689=13×53 or 83² [both superseded — corrected reading: (7×2×7)/(11×13) ≈ 0.6853] Both readings valid at 3 digits
m_p/m_e 4 1836=2²×3³×17 (ArXe) 7+ more digits = convention
V_us 5 π/44 formula All 5 digits natural (simplest formula)
V_ub 4 P=37 (ArXe pure) All 4 digits natural
V_cb 4 P=11×19 (ArXe pure) All 4 digits natural

Dimensional naturality hierarchy

Not all types of constants are equally “natural” in ALO:

Type ArXe-pure rate Why
Dimensionless SM/cosmology ~52% (13/25 pure P or Layer C) Ratios between levels — pure but complex
Masses in Planck units 86% (12/14) Direct level weight — purest grammar
Energies in Planck units 83% (5/6) Same as masses (T⁵ = T³ extended)
Lengths in Planck units 0% (0/5) Scale separation too large — convention accumulates

Implication: the grammar of dimensional masses is simpler and more natural than the grammar of dimensionless constants. Planck units are genuinely the native ArXe scale.

§10 — OBSERVER STRATA (§13 ArXe Core)

Every constant’s factorization reveals which observational strata the phenomenon engages.

Stratum Label Arity numbers Description
I The universe we are {2, 3, 5, 7} Time, space, mass — directly inhabitable physics
II The universe we see {11} EM field — universal channel, measurement pivot
III The universe we infer {13,17,19,23,29,…} Weak, dark matter, inflation, dark energy
IV The universe we construct Large arities, Layer D Frameworks, conventions, institutional choices

The pivot: Arity 11 (REG, EM) is simultaneously the boundary of direct experience and the universal channel of mediation. Every measurement ends in a photon.

  • Arities{2,3,5,7,11} within d* digits → universe speaking
  • Arity numbers ≥13 and/or beyond d* → physicists answering

§11 — CORRECTION ADDENDA (from Grammar_V4_Correcciones.md)

These corrections are mandatory for any published reading. They do not invalidate empirical findings — they correct their interpretation.

C1 — No statistical significance claim

The 93.75% match rate (75/80) demonstrates internal grammatical coherence of the lexicon, not statistical significance against a null model. The analysis is post-hoc (formulas found knowing the values). The streak of 30 consecutive exact matches reflects lexicon consistency, not improbability as coincidence.

Valid claim: “The same grammatical rules work systematically across distinct physical sectors.”
Invalid claim: “p < 10⁻¹⁵ statistical significance.”

C2 — No “cosmic conversation” framing

The universe does not weight truths (axiom ¬()). There is no objective sender/receiver. Arity numbers encode irreducible degrees of freedom, not cosmic messages.

Correct framing: “Arity numbers record the grammar of the encounter between the structure of the phenomenon and the choices of the community that measures it.”

C3 — Two simultaneous grammars (not one)

The Central Proposition must distinguish:

  • Grammar 1: the arity number grammar of the phenomenon (first d* digits — ontological structure)
  • Grammar 2: the arity number grammar of the community’s measurement choices (digits beyond d* — methodological decisions)

ALO reads both — and distinguishes at each digit which grammar is speaking.

C4 — §8 Predictions reclassified as “Prospective Readings”

Predictions P4.1–P4.6 from Grammar are not quantified probabilistic predictions. They are consistency projections: if the lexicon captures real structure, new values should be readable with the same rules. Confirmation = the readability test, not verification of a specific predicted value.

C5 — Causal language avoided

Formulas like “Ω_Λ emerges as quadratic self-branching” → replace with:
“The ALO reading of Ω_Λ is (7×2×7)/(11×13) ≈ 0.6853. [Note: an earlier reading, P = 83², once presented as the only case in the corpus where an operator appeared squared in primary position. The ontological interpretation is coherent with the lexicon and generates a reading hypothesis.”

C6 — R15 (Generational Affinity) is descriptive, not derivational

The rule describes an observed pattern. It predicts which arity number family should appear in a constant’s ALO reading, not the numerical value of masses.

§12 — COMPLETE CKM MATRIX (v4.0, 9/9 elements)

         d              s              b
u   [7×13×107]    [7×17×19−2]    [2×191]
c   [13×17]       [3×5²×13]      [5×83−6]
t   [2×7×61]      [2⁴×5²]        [3³×37]

All divided by appropriate power of 10 to match experimental values.

Transversal arity numbers in CKM: 13 appears in 3 elements, 7 in 3 elements, 17 in 2 elements.

< 0.001% PRECISE Structurally confirmed — minor rounding
< 0.01% GOOD Structurally consistent — search may continue
> 0.01% INCOMPLETE Continue searching — base structure may be wrong

Search order for formula (ALO protocol):

  1. Level 1 — pure arity or pure power (P itself)
  2. Level 2 — single anchor: (p/q) × anchor^r
  3. Level 3 — anchor + correction: (p/q × anchor^r) × (1 ± a/(b×c))
  4. Level 4 — two terms: p×anchor1 ± q×anchor2

Tie-breaking rule (multiple formulas with same error):

  1. Prefer lower complexity
  2. Prefer arity numbers with known ArXe assignment
  3. Prefer π over φ over ρ for geometric structure
  4. Require ontological justification — not only numerical fit

§17 — CORPUS-WIDE STRUCTURAL FINDINGS

Anchor distribution across all corpora

Anchor Appears in Type of constant
φ (golden ratio) V_ud, V_ub, V_cd, V_cs, V_tb, sin²θ₁₂, Ω_m, Ω_b Ratios, fractions, mixing amplitudes
π (pi) α⁻¹, V_us, sin²θ₂₃, Ω_Λ, δ_CKM, δ_CP, m_μ/m_e Angles, geometric couplings
ρ (plastic) α_s, sin²θ_W, sin²θ₁₂, V_ts, m_n/m_p Couplings, recursive structures
None needed All dimensional masses/energies in Planck units Direct level weights — arity numbers alone sufficient

φ dominates mixing amplitudes. π dominates angles and phases. ρ dominates coupling constants. This is not a choice — it follows from the BC structure of T³ (where both φ and π emerge as BC-open and BC-closed ratios respectively).

Simplest formulas in corpus

Rank Constant Formula Arity numbers used
1 V_us (Cabibbo angle) π / 44 {2, 11}
2 δ_CP PMNS 324π − φ/4 {2, 3}
3 sin²θ₂₃ 5π / 28 {2, 5, 7}
4 m_μ/m_e 19²π/20 + 20²π {2, 5, 19}
5 Ω_b φ⁻¹/2 × (1 − 3/(17×2)) {2, 3, 17}

Transversal operators: confirmed cross-sector arity numbers

Arity number Operator Confirmed appearances
2 (DIFF) Universal carrier Present in virtually every formula — structural scaffolding
71 (TAU_ID) Tau identity G_F, m_τ, θ₁₂, sin²θ₁₃, Ω_c, Ω_r — 6 constants
19 (DARK) Dark modulation m_s, m_b, V_cd, Ω_c, m_μ/m_e — 7 constants
5 (MEM) Memory Multiple sectors — 6+ constants
11 (REG) EM regulation sin²θ₁₃ P, V_cb P, W boson P, proton P — 4+
83 (BRAN) Branching Ω_Λ=83² (self-branching), V_cb formula
67 (SCAT) Scattering m_d, h, Γ_Z, Ω_r contexts
167 (COSM_EW) Cosm–EW m_φ(meson), Ω_Λ(batch4) — cosmology–EW connection
173 (REACT_MIX) Reactor mixing sin²θ₁₃ formula, m_Bs formula
29 (VBG) Vacuum background Λ_QCD P, Ω_Λ formula, V_ud formula

The proton = neutron identity (at current precision)

Both proton and neutron read P = 77 = 7×11 = CPX×REG in Planck units.
Ontological reading: confined quarks (7=color) regulated by EM field (11).
The 1.4 MeV mass difference (0.14%) requires higher precision to distinguish — that difference is in the conventional layer at current measurement.

Unique phenomena in corpus

  • [RETRACTED] Formerly claimed as the only quadratic self-branching case: Ω_Λ = (7×2×7)/(11×13) ≈ 0.6853 (corrected reading, see update notice) — the corpus currently has no confirmed case of an operator applying to itself
  • Only pure EM: sin²θ₁₃ P=11 alone — reactor mixing angle reads as pure electromagnetic field
  • Simplest CKM: V_us = π/44 — Cabibbo angle has the most parsimonious reading in full corpus
  • Deepest P in ArXe-pure set: V_ub P=37 (T⁻¹⁸, TOP) — up→bottom transition is topological
  • Most levels in one formula: n_s spans T⁻¹ through T⁻⁸ consecutively (all six field levels)

“We do not prove. We show — and we distinguish which voice speaks in each digit.”
